Warnock agrees new deal

Warnock put pen to paper on a new contract immediately after last night's game. After spending a season loan at Coventry City where he won their Player of the Year award, Warnock broke into Liverpools' first team under Rafael Benitez last season and made 29 appearances for the Reds.

Warnock has started this season as first choice left back after putting the disappointment of missing out on a European Cup winners medal behind him and has been duly rewarded by the manager.
