Warnock: Spitting expected from a foreigner

Warnock, finally revealing his true colours to the few people that had any respect for his inane views, said: "Henchoz spat at me, and that was not a very nice thing to do. I told Sammy Lee what I felt and he knows what went on because he was there straightaway.

"Henchoz knows exactly what he did as well. It wasn't the way to behave, but then he's not English, is he, and so you expect one or two things like that. I think the official line from Liverpool is that he spat on the floor."

It is to be hoped that the FA take as much interest in his words as they are doing in an alleged spit which seemingly talk more twists and turns then the infamous Highbury coin thrown by Jamie Carragher.

As much as Liverpool fans would like to see the charming Mr Warnock at Anfield again, it is clear that Portsmouth and Leicester will have a lot more support for their promotion ambitions from the Reds fans.
