Warnock to be sent to Coventry

Gary McAllister is trying to prepare for the new season with a depleted squad after financial troubles at Highfield Road and the young defender would be an ideal addition.

Despite a successful loan period with Bradford City last season, Warnock is still unlikely to break into the first team and another spell in Division One would give him much-needed experience.
