Wenger denies Kewell interest

Arsenal were just one of many club's, including Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United, to be snubbed by Kewell but Wenger has made it clear that the Gunners were never seriously involved in the transfer chase for Liverpool's newest acquisition.


"We never made a formal offer for Harry Kewell," insisted Arsenal's French boss, who clearly didn't see the many reports claiming that the London side offered a meagre £3.5m for the Australian international.
