Wenger warns of Gerrard loss

Roman Abramovich faield with a £25m bid last summer, but Wenger insists there's very little a club can do to prevent a transfer.

"Chelsea will sooner or later get who they want," he said. "That means that Gerrard's decision to stay may be a temporary one."

However, Wenger isn't worried about losing Patrick Vieira to Chelsea, because his players are committed to the club.

"It is not a worry for us at all. We don't need any money and our players are committed.

"We share something here that is special and aspire to be stronger and bigger."
