West Ham have denied this afternoon's reports claiming that their striker Frederic Kanoute has been sold to Liverpool.
Hammer's Managing Director Paul Adridge said: "We have made our position quite clear regarding Fredi. We are not looking to sell him. We have not had contact from Liverpool regarding him and nor do we wish to. The rumour is absolute nonsense."
Kanoute is up for the move north to Liverpool despite having three years left on his current deal.
