We round up the newspaper reports following Liverpool's 3-0 win at Middlesbrough on Wednesday night...
The cameras attempted to pan towards Liverpool’s dropped goalkeeper on more than one occasion here but no one was really noticing. Jürgen Klopp’s side made sure that Loris Karius was not the story on a night when Adam Lallana starred in a convincing victory and they played the kind of scintillating football that has become their trademark this season.

It was the night Jürgen Klopp showed there is a ruthless streak behind his toothy smile and his Liverpool side displayed their class in a crushing away win that re-established their title credentials.
Middlesbrough held their own in the first half, but some of Liverpool’s pass-and-move football was a joy to watch and the way they moved through the gears in the second half was like a sports car pulling away from a family saloon. Adam Lallana was the star of the show as Liverpool beat Middlesbrough 3-0 to move up to second in the table.
The former Southampton man scored his second in as many games when he headed the Reds in front during the first half.
And he then set up Divock Origi after the break to take his assist tally to six for the season. Origi returned the favour soon after, crossing for Lallana to fire easily past Victor Valdes.
The result means Liverpool are now level on points and goal difference with Arsenal, but go ahead of them in the table due to the number of goals scored.

So it turns out Jurgen Klopp called this one wrong: Loris Karius could have played and the final result would not have been in jeopardy.
In fact, Klopp could actually have played without a No 1 for much of this contest and the outcome would still have been the same. After 72 hours talking about goalkeepers, Liverpool's manager left a venue that has historically given his club nightmares talking about goals.
Ruthlessly efficient and devastatingly clinical, Liverpool took Middlesbrough apart and the only man to head back to Merseyside in a state of unhappiness was Karius, who spent 90 minutes sat behind his manager brooding as his replacement, Simon Mignolet, was barely troubled.

Adam Lallana struck twice as Liverpool re-ignited their Premier League title challenge with an emphatic 3-0 win over Middlesbrough.
It was the perfect response to the setbacks against Bournemouth and West Ham as the Reds triumphed at the Riverside for the first time in eight attempts dating back to 2002.
