What they say about... Luis Garcia

He's a traditional player. He's very skilful and a player with talent, clever in midfield. For us it is important to have this type of player. He played with me as a left winger at Tenerife and scored 16 goals in Spain's second division. He is a good professional and is coming because he knows the club and the manager. It was difficult at Barcelona for him to play a lot of matches. He knows that here at Liverpool he can improve the club. If I was a supporter now, I'd want to see Luis Garcia for sure. He's fast, good at dribbling and scores a lot of goals.

He is a very good player and will score a lot of goals from midfield, which has been Rafa Benitez's biggest obsession. Garcia basically plays on the left but scores a lot of goals because he cuts in. More than anything else, he is quick and gets up and down the line very well.
