"The reason there haven't been any striking coaches is because there has always been a philosophy you've either got it or you haven't," said Rush.

"After working with people at the likes of Barnsley and Wrexham, I think you can teach someone to be goalscorer.

"If you instill that into players at an early age, that's how they become better players."
