Pepe Reina, Fernando Torres, Dirk Kuyt and Ryan Babel all returned to Melwood to begin their pre-season preperations yesterday. None of the four are likely to take part in Thursday's Europa League qualifier against Rabotnicki so the Premiership opener against Arsenal on August 15th is likely to be their first game of the new season.
