World Cup Reds return

The Liverpool players who went to the World Cup in Germany this Summer have returned to Melwood for pre-season training. The likes of Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher and Xabi Alonso are back in training and will play in the Reds' next pre-season friendly against Kaiserslauten on Saturday.

Liverpool travel to Switzerland to their pre-season training camp this week and will play Kaiserslauten, Grasshopper Club Zurich and FSV Mainz while they are out there.
