"We would encourage fans to plan now to make the most of their visit to Cardiff," said Cabinet Member for the Enviroment Phil Robinson. "Why not avoid last-minute travel woes by coming early and making a weekend of it?

"The city has everything you would expect of a capital, with a superb range of accommodation, exceptional shopping, restaurants and bars and a nightlife second to none."

Although accomodation in Cardiff is almost booked up there's plenty of accomodation slightly further afield - visit www.visitcardiff.info for more info.

If you are intending to travel down by train you should contact Virgin on 08457 222 333 or their website at www.virgin.com/trains , or Wales and Border Trains on 0870 9000 773 or www.walesandborderstrains.co.uk. For general rail inquiries phone 08457 48 49 50.

For those travelling by coach, there will be parking one mile from the stadium and there will be park and ride facilities for car users.
