Yossi hopes to shine

The midfielder scored two hat-tricks last season and eleven goals overall. This was a decent total for his debut season with the Reds but the Israeli captain is hoping for more in 2008/9.

"I believe in myself and know what I can do," said Benayoun.

"I think I had a good season last year, but I want to improve and score more goals. It's up to the manager - my job is to do what I can for the best of the team."
