"The choir has been singing the song at Hillsborough memorials for the last five years and Liverpool FC kept telling us we should record a version," said Pastor Tani Omideyi.
"Now we have taken them at their word and we think it could go all the way up the charts. In a dream world, it could even be the Christmas Number One."
Liverpool fans were treated to a live sneak preview during half time at Anfield on Saturday, but the single goes on sale nationwide on December 2nd.
"All the money raised will be used to develop our community and urban music centre in Oakfield Road right next to the stadium," he added.
