Youth side through in style

This is the first time the Reds have made it past the third round since 2001 when a certain Neil Mellor scored eight times in four games to take them to the semi-finals.

The hero this time around was Irish youth international Conal Platt who scored a hat-trick. The other goalscorers were Karl Noon, Jordan Holmes and captain Danny Guthrie.

The Reds now face Spurs at home in round four later this month.
