John Owens said: "I had mostly an Under-17 team out but even so it was a very disappointing performance. We just never got started and we didn't respond to their direct style of play. They knocked us off the ball easily and were physically stronger.
"Our goalkeeper Paul Willis was tremendous and stopped it from being a rather embarassing scoreline to be honest."
Owens' team remain in second place however, and play their final game of the season against Wolves in two weeks time.
