What a great player Milan Baros is proving to be. Well done Gerard Houllier for helping him correct his terrible attitude. Now he has earned his chance, taken it well and shown the manager that he wants to play for this club. Is it just me or does he look like another Michael Owen in the making?

Milan Baros has certainly raised a few eye brows since his fantastic debut. I admit that I expected him to be a flop, everyone did at Anfield apart from Gerard. Yes he does look very similar to Michael but he has a long way to go before he can be compared to such a talent. What a capture if he could just be half the player Michael is.
Welcome back Didi!!!! What a difference he makes to the team. He ran his balls off today against Manchester City and protected his defenders well. I think his importance to the team matches that of Owen.

Dietmar Hamann is without question, one of the best players at the club. I was sad to learn that he wanted to leave the club recently but that looks to have been dealt with. I think his return helped Owen yesterday. Long may his form continue.
Diouf made his debut and everyone was excited with his game but all of a sudden he's crap and Baros is now the player everyone loves. What is it with everyone? If anyone's crap it has to be Heskey.

Yes everyone was excited when Diouf made his debut but I haven't seen anyone say anything bad about him at all. He has to settle in and just because he hasn't remained in the team doesn't mean the manager or the fans have turned on him. Diouf is used depending on Gerard's formation and general approach. I want to see Baros and Owen in attack but I'm excited that we have Diouf on the bench. Heskey may not be the target man everyone craves but he plays an important role.
