'On The Spot' - updated (Thursday)

It would be fantastic to sign both Bowyer and Emerton. With Bowyer next to Gerrard on midfield they would have a fantastic centre of the midfield. With Emerton on the right midfield you would have a player who has a fantastic offensive-devensive combination. Everybody thinks he is a offensive right back but he will get much better playing right on the midfield, he is very creative and even as a right back he was very offensive for feyenoord. Another player we should follow is Christian Chivu, a brilliant defender of AJAX. it would be very hard to sign him but we have a chance. What I don't get of both Houllier and Thompson is that they placed a creative MIDFIELDER as Litmanen on the bench or put him in as a striker. He is not a striker. his quality lies in the centre of midfield. If you would look back at Ajax golden years you would always see him behind the striker on midfield. He even played games as a central defender for Ajax because he is great in seeing what happens on the pitch. I think Jari would let players as owen and diouf be much more effective when he is in centre of midfield. Put gerrard behind him and emerton on his right and you would have a better midfield than man united or Arsenal. We also need a good left winger, we missed out on gronkjaer who is a great player at that position, but there are many more in europe like van Persie from feyenoord. And the final missing link for this team to win the premiership is a new partner for sami hyppia, not that henchoz is bad but to win a championship it just has to be a little better so we can play for more offensive without having fear for a goal against us

GOAL!!!

I'm going to award you a goal by ignoring the comments about finding a new partner for Sami. Some people would argue that Henchoz is better than his defensive partner or that Sami is not as good without Henchoz by his side. I think they work great together and I wouldn't want to see this partnership broken up. Bowyer and Emerton would be good signings but let's see what happens.

It's a big loss when Jari sits on the bench. Why doesn't Houllier play him more often, especially that he performs brilliantly everytime he does play? Jari is a lifelong Liverpool lover, and it would break all our hearts if he does leaves the club, because everyone cherishes having such a brilliant and disciplined player. Why oh why is GH so biased against him?!! I think he should let Jari participate in more games, instead of going hunting for baby players.

OFF TARGET!!!

Jari is a good player but Gerard Houllier sees more of him than you and I.

I wouldn't call the 'serial killer' a baby to his face. Would you?
