Man Utd 0-1 Liverpool - Kop Kids report

The ball went out for a free kick but the ref didn't give and Liverpool got the ball cleared. Liverpool has now got a free kick on the edge of the box and Murphy took it but the ball went straight into the wall. United with a chance but the ball was cleared by Carragher. I think Manchester look like the team who are on top at the moment.

Manchester is on the attack a lot and Liverpool are finding it hard to keep the ball out. The ball keeps moving from team to team and the game is keeping very tense. Manchester United is getting the most chances at the moment and Liverpool is keeping up the good work to keep it clear.

Man U with a cross and the ball went straight to the other side and was cleared for Liverpool to get a chance but it was missed. Manchester United with a brilliant chance but the ball just missed the open space and just went wide of the post. Liverpool has got a free kick but the ball didn't get far enough and a pass was missed which went out for a throw.

Man U with quiet a few chances but then the ball goes out for a corner. The ball was cleared then Liverpool got a chance with a free kick, which went sailing over the bar. Now Man U has a corner, which was yet again cleared then it was brought back in again then it was cleared again!!

Liverpool got a free kick near the edge of the box which was taken by Gerrard which only just went wide for a corner, which was cleared then Man U had a chance but the ball went wide. Heskey was fouled again to give us another free kick. Liverpool I think are starting to play a lot better and got on top of the ball a lot more.

Man U with another good chance but they were blocked out then Liverpool got a good chance with Gerrard but the ball was saved. Owen with a brilliant chance but he just shot it wide. Liverpool is getting a lot more play of the ball. Manchester United was blocked out again then the ball was cleared. Gerrard gave away a free kick, which went back into the box several times but was blocked and in the end the ball got cleared away from danger.

There have been a few chances for both teams but neither team can seem to score a goal. Heskey tries to battle it out but the foul went the other way. Murphy and Heskey came together but the ball was shot and Barthez saved it. Man U with a really good chance but the ball just went straight past the mouth of the goal.

Liverpool kicked off the second half with an attack and I think they have kept the good play up from the first half. Liverpool is doing well by keeping the ball and passing it around themselves. Liverpool was caught out but they got the ball cleared. At the other end of the field Owen had a brilliant chance after he got passed one megged another then lost the ball.

They got in again and the ball was cleared out for a throw in. Liverpool are having a few good shots but none of then seem to be going in.

The ball has been kept mainly in the middle of the pitch with Liverpool behind it. Beckham with a cross but the players were closed down and the keeper kept it. Liverpool had a chance but Murphy smacked the ball miles of the net. Brilliant run from Wright but the ball didn't find its way into the back of the goal this time.

Liverpool with a lot of brilliant load of chances but each one was kept out some how. Man U have got a good chance with a corner but the ball was yet again cleared. Man U had another excellent chance but the defence cleared the ball away from the area. Beckham with another chance but the ball went wide.

Liverpool with another chance but Heskey played the ball passed the front of the goal. Man U with a lot of chances on goal but they still can't put one past dudey Dudek. Brilliant chance for Anelka but the keeper kept it out for a corner. The corner went to Riise who had a brilliant volley but Barthez saved it.

Murphy with a beautiful goal just chipping the ball over the keeper. Another chance at the other end but Dudek staying on his feet to keep it out. Man U trying there best to get free kicks and goals but nothing is coming their way. But Liverpool have won anyway.
