It follows the club's response to 300 questions from Liverpool's planning department after the original application was submitted last October.

Many of the queries in the new report, part of which which has been obtained by the Daily Post, were technical, involving issues such as noise, light and parking issues in relation to the new stadium.

But it also reveals that the stadium capacity will actually be 61,000 with 1,000 seats left empty for the segregation of rival fans.

The report reveals the Anfield Plaza development, due to take place on the site of the current stadium, is not expected to be complete until 2009 with demolition of the present stadium taking at least a year, probably in 2006.

The report also looks at the alternative sites considered for the stadium, including land in Speke and Cronton. The public can view the plans at Millennium House in Victoria Street this morning.
